Fear is a liar

Dear Pastor Geoff,

So far, the biggest mountain I am facing right now is fear, I am reminded of the song, Fear is a Liar, so cast your fear into the fire.

God is our very present help in time of trouble.

Although at times I do walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

Fear not for I ( the Lord God) am with you, Do not be afraid for I am your God.

God has not given me a Spirit of fear, but a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

This one here in 2 Timothy, I like to say God gives me His love, which is the power to overcome fear, and with that He also gives me a sound mind, or wisdom to know what to do.

I am praying and asking God for wisdom, in James it says if we ask God for it He will give us the wisdom. I trust in God to help me with everything, I know He will not let me down.

A wonderful song on the Christian Radio stations right now is " No Fear" by Jon Reddick. I am listening to it a lot. There is also one by Brandon Lake called " Fear is not my future"

I keep reminding myself that I am not alone, it was God who prompted me this year to move to Iowa, and I am whole heartly in this thing. It is not always easy to follow God, but in the end it is worth it. He will never ever, ever let me, you or anyone else down.
