Counting it all Joy

I am a servant of the Most High God, and a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ

Dear Pastor Geoff,

Today God reminded me of the verse in James 1 that says we are to count it all joy when we are in trials and temptations.

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

So today I am doing this here are right now my top 10 Joys.

1. It is God who is going before me, and He never leaves me or forsakes me.

2. God is the one who supplies all my needs according to His Riches in His Glory, it is not according to the need. I am believing for an Eph 3:20 outcome from all this financial troubles I am currently in.

3. I have a lot of good Godly people like you and the church supporting me and helping me to keep going, and not quit.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Gal 6:9

4. Jesus is my High Priest and Lord.

Heb 12: 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

5. The shop does have the part and will start working on the car today.

6. I applied for 4 more jobs yesterday online. In this apartment in OK I still have internet, in Iowa I will not have Internet there until 4-11-25 a week from this Friday. I need internet to apply for these jobs.

7. I am glad my cats are going with me to the new apartment in IA they are my Comfort and Joy.

8. At least my delay is only one week, not months like it was for the astronauts on the space station.

9. I Trusting God that His Ways are higher then my ways, and His thoughts are higher then my thoughts. Isa 55: 8-9

10. I am going to have a really awesome testimony after all this is over and done with.

I hope to give it to a lot of people to encourage them. We can always trust God.

That is my top 10 reasons to give God Praise, and count it all Joy, maybe, I will give you 10 more tomorrow, or who knows what I will do... I am just Trusting God to lead me and guide me all the way through this valley.

Ps 23: 4 Even though I walk

    through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

    for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

    they comfort me.
